Venom Words — Terms & Conditions
The short version. You're licensed to play Venom Words for personal fun. The app and its word database belong to us. Purchases go through Apple and Google under their rules. The game comes as-is; play nice with it.
1 · Agreement
By downloading or using Venom Words ("the app"), you agree to these terms. On Apple devices, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, these terms govern to the extent permitted. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2 · License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store or Google Play terms. The app and its content are licensed, not sold to you.
3 · Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, design, and the entire word database — every answer word, venom-word set, difficulty score, and pack — are the property of Entropy of Fun and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, extract, scrape, redistribute, or resell the word database or any part of the app's content.
4 · Purchases
The app offers one-time in-app purchases (the Premium Unlock and content packs) processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown before you buy and may change for future purchasers. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies — we cannot issue refunds directly. Purchases can be restored on a new device via Restore Purchases with the same store account.
5 · Free trial and free tier
New installations include a free trial of the full experience, measured by cards played, followed by a permanent free tier with a smaller deck. We may adjust the size or shape of the trial and free tier for future installations.
6 · Acceptable use
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app except where law expressly permits, and you may not tamper with purchase entitlements or use the app in any unlawful way.
7 · Content and updates
The app downloads word-content updates over the air, and we may add, change, or retire content and features over time. Gameplay itself requires no internet connection.
8 · Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free (though we try hard).
9 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entropy of Fun is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
10 · Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by deleting the app.
11 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
